{STYLE: sparkly thrifted finds}

vintage style new years eveYou can call it part luck and part eagle eye but I’ve come across some pretty awesome finds on my thrifting expeditions lately. I realized that I have a little bit of a theme going with lots of gold, black and sequin…perfect for new years eve! Check out some of my recent glittery finds. And yes, I found all of them at thrift shops for under $20. I never used to shop at thrift stores but after reading about them on websites like trvst, I was 100% converted!

This beautiful sequin shirt dress with a sexy front cut out. (unfortunately this one didn’t quite fit but I couldn’t walk away so I grabbed it but it will likely be for sale)

How beautiful are these beaded vintage purses I found all at the same time?! I know I don’t need them all but I can’t pick which ones I want to keep. And let’s talk about the big & bold vintage earrings – I can just imagine the woman that these belonged to before. I hope I have even half of her glam to pull these off. As you all know, I love earrings. I even got a pair of personalized earrings (check out this information about personalized jewelry) a few weeks ago and I adore wearing them! I’m not sure these vintage earrings are as nice as my new pair but I’m still so in love with them!

What are your plans for new year’s eve? Will you be getting all dolled up? I’m hosting a small party at my place but I think it’s still fun to have your guests dress up. How many times do you get to wear sequin!? If you’re still scrabbling for an outfit, don’t forget to check out your local thrift shop. You may hit the glitter jackpot.
