Holiday Gold Wall Decal using Cricut

Gold Vinyl Holiday Deer Head Wall Decal

Well it’s been a few months and the love for my Cricut Explore machine has not faded at all. In fact it’s even bigger with the holiday craft season upon us. So many ideas!! I can’t believe that this is already the last round of the Cricut Design Space Star challenge. If you remember so far I created a cake topper and a holiday card and today I’m sharing this simple but adorable holiday wall decal with you. Keep reading to see more of this piece of holiday art I created plus a chance to win a Cricut Explore of your very own!

You may recognize this deer head that made an appearance on the inside cover of Merry magazine. It was a sale score at HomeSense and I love it so much that I wanted to make it even more of a feature in my space.I got the felt pom pom balls from Etsy and made a little garland to lighten it up. I used adhesive vinyl on my Cricut for the first time to make this fun self-serve mimosa bar last week and I’m kinda hooked.

I decided to add a simple holiday message and leaf garland design to make it special. I designed the artwork using Adobe Illustrator then imported it into Design Space to cut out. The adhesive vinyl takes a tiny bit of getting used to but overall it’s pretty easy to work with. And it’s removable so if you need to play around with it, it’s forgivable and doesn’t ruin your walls in any way.

  1. I love this idea for easily removable holiday decorations! I’d make some designs for my office wall first I think, but the options are endless!

  8. What we do is provide you with insulation that’s quick and easy
to use – and saves your hard earned money on heating and cooling bills.
Exterior wall insulation is best for that and you can remove that entire
problem. Many home improvement companies offer these services also.

  9. I would love to make the same Rudolph’s for each of my grand kids! This would be the very first one I would make for the holidays!
