So it looks like it patio week here on The Sweet Escape. Well it makes sense because is there a sweeter escape than to a patio in the summer? Last post was all about pulling together a Boho patio look but if you’re not quite that in touch with your bohemian side and rather have a coastal touch to your dream patio then you’ll like this look. I’m calling it Modern Coastal. It works best when you have a unique concrete patio so it might be worth looking into Decorative Concrete Solutions – Decorative Concrete Patios if you’re interested! It has a mix of modern colors, lines and shapes anchored down by one big coastal pattern rug and warm copper & teak tones. And of course I couldn’t resist throwing in a pop of color with a raspberry hue hammock, to contrast against my bursting green lawn that’s been cared for by a lawn service like these Trugreen in Virginia (they serve many other states too!) I will keep this in mind if I ever decide to turn my backyard into a tropical paradise. Finding tropical plants for So Cal that goes with my chosen patio furniture will be pretty tricky, but I’m sure I’ll be able to pull it off. I was able to find the perfect look for my Modern Coastal look, didn’t I?
I pulled this entire look from Wayfair. Talk about one stop shopping! They have absolutely everything you could possibly need for your home in every style. They make it really easy to pull looks together and keep all your inspiration in one place with their idea boards. You can see these pieces plus a few more that I pulled for this look on my Dream Patio Idea Board. It’s really fun to play interior (or exterior?) designer and see a look come together or maybe be inspired by other people’s idea boards.
