If you’re looking to give a room in your home a refresh, the bathroom is a great place to start because it’s small so it doesn’t take much to make a noticeable difference. On the other hand, because it’s small you really have to put thought into the pieces you do use. I partnered up with my friends at Kitchen Stuff Plus to show how easy a bathroom refresh can be with. You can create any of these 4 different looks just by changing up your accessories and adding a few styling touches. They’re currently having a bathroom event with up to 50% off so it’s the perfect time to rethink and refresh your loo.
I visited the Kitchen Stuff Plus photo studio and had some fun styling up these looks that are all super functional and affordable.
For the bath lovers out there the bathroom can definitely be your mini at-home spa. Choose neutral and calming colours like beiges and creams for your towels and accessories then add a few pops of warm wood texture and natural greens for a soothing effect. Everyone has their own preferences as to how they want something to look. Whether you want Chestnut Vanity Units or Oak Vanity Units, there is something out there to suit the taste and needs of everyone. Of course always have plenty of your fave bath salts and soaps nearby and infuse the room with your favourite calming scent. Then just hit play and forget about everything.

A few extra styling touches you could add to give it that extra spa-like vibe. This one is most definitely up my alley. I’m not afraid to use bold colours in my decor and I think the bathroom is the perfect place, especially if you have a white bathroom that will really make it pop. With a bold & colourful look the shower curtain is really the hero then you accessorize around that. Kitchen Stuff Plus has this great line in my favourite colour of all time, turquoise, that really makes this look so fresh and fun. If the patterned curtain is a bit much for you, replace it with a similar or contrasting solid color for an equally fresh but less busy look. If you wanted to have a patterned shower curtain, consider how this will affect the rest of the bathroom. For example, perhaps you’d want to opt for a subtle, white vanity rather than a bold, statement one. Luckily, you can get help from Unique Vanities and other similar companies, so if you need some design advice, check out their website. Just keep your design theme in mind throughout and make sure everything matches.

A few fun styling touches you can add for even more colour. Who doesn’t love staying in a luxe hotel? Well just because you can’t always visit the hotel it doesn’t mean you can’t bring the hotel to you. This is a great look for a guest bathroom because let’s be honest, this luxe hotel look doesn’t come with maid service. Hotel Luxe is all about fresh white towels, cozy robes and slick accessories. Modern features such as a rectangle Japanese bathtub and frameless glass shower can add character to the hotel look. Just think about the last hotel bathroom you visited had and try to replicate it in yours! You could even install some fashionable black taps from somewhere like Meir.com.au to add a bit more style to your bathroom! Add some small size soaps and shampoos for a real hotel feel and you’ll want to be guests in your own home.

Lastly for those who like a little history and romance there’s a vintage look. You can still achieve a vintage or antique look with modern fixtures with a bit of creativity and some great flea market finds. Black or brushed metal accessories can give a more traditional feel and really compliment the vintage style writing on this specific curtain and accessories. Stick to classic white florals and layer in warm textures of brass, wood and silver with some great antiques. Keep your eyes out at your local antique shop or flea market for some great vintage toiletry packaging for an extra special touch.
