{DESIGN: networking with your business card}

So today I’m lucky enough to meet the talented design celebrity, Sarah Richardson (yippie!) followed by the big BlogPodium conference on tomorrow where I hope to meet a bunch more creative & talented people. I wanted to do a post about something very important, like what I should wear to these two events. But the truth is I still have no idea (at the time of writing this post on Wednesday) so scratch that. I’ve already covered what you should bring here.

Even more seriously though something that you definitely 10000% should have with you is a business card. If you don’t have one then Print Management Companies London will be more than happy to assist you. Networking 101, people. Even in the digital age and everyone having an iPhone glued to their hand, business cards still have a function. Not only do they have all your contact & social media info but it’s the first impression of your brand, which is why you should check out litho print business cards as they allow for large volume printing and are also compatible with metallics and pure Pantone colours. When people (um, me) get home from a conference and finally have a chance to look through all the business cards collected, you can bet that the well designed & branded ones get attention first. If you’re feeling like you need to upgrade your design but aren’t so hot on the artistic side of things then graphic design companies like https://kaizenprint.co.uk/small-format/business-cards/ can help you design the perfect business card and some can also oversee the printing of them.

For myself, I decided to keep it pretty simple. I have a two sided full colour card with my blog logo on one side and all my contact and social media info on the other. There’s a nice spot varnish on the logo (which you can’t really see in this photo) but pretty simple.

If you feel like you can use a business card makeover or need inspiration to get started, here’s a bunch of beautifully designed cards to get your creative juices flowing.
