I love to bake and cook all year round but there’s something about the fall weather change that really brings it out in me. Plums are one of those fruit that I admittedly don’t love eating on their own but they are so perfect for baking. I think it’s the balance of their tartiness with something sweet that makes for a great dessert. I know this sounds like I’m bragging but I whipped up this honey glazed apricot plum galette in about 10 minutes + cooking time and it’s a real show stopper. I’m going to call it bakers beginner’s luck but truthfully it’s pretty damn easy. Visit the Kendall Jackson Wines blog to see the full recipe and find out what my major cheat is to make something so good so easily.
