DIY Macrame Planter Workshop

July 7, 2016 by TheSweetEscape 3 Comments

Sweet Escape Workshops - DIY Macrame Plant Hanger Good things can take a little time. Like me finally getting the studio up and running for workshops. But the time has come, Sweet Escape Workshops has arrived and the first one is great way to kick it off. I’ve become a little hooked on macrame (who hasn’t?!) and want to share my obsession with you with a DIY Macrame Plant Hanger Workshop. Learn to make a modern version of this classic craft to add a touch of Boho to your space and have fun and meet some great people while you’re at it.

Believe it or knot (get it?!?!?!?) all of these plant hangers were made using just one knot. This class is great for beginners or intermediate crafters, depending on how creative you want to get with your design. Thanks to our friends at Home Depot Canada, all materials, including the plant! are provided. This is the style and colour (natural rope) of planter that you’ll walk away with at the end of the night. The dying is optional if you want to keep things really simple.
