{SPACES: a stylish workspace}

So it’s been two weeks since my last day. So far, so good. I still don’t quite have the daily routine thing happening. There’s been a lot of organizing & catching up and it doesn’t help that I’m easily distracted. One thing is for sure, I need to set myself up with a proper workspace. I absolutely love my loft and it hasn’t been until now that I’ve wanted more….more space! I would give anything to have one more room that can be my workspace & studio. But the reality is that it’s not happening anytime soon so I’ll have to live with having my workspace in my living space. Unless I sometime soon look at something like these prefab office sheds that could allow me to have some extra room in a nice stylish space in my garden. I’ve actually seen a couple of my co-workers do this. They seem to have seperate areas for their work space, some of them in the backyard. One of my friends told me that she’d recently purchased one of the metal buildings iowa companies are currently offering. She added some office furniture, and now she has a seperate home office outside of her home. This keeps her work things away from her personal life. That’s a good idea, but I think I’ll have to keep my working area inside my home. I guess I could also design the workspace in anyway I wish without having to conform to the design of my living space! Here’s a bunch of workspaces I came across for some inspiration to help me set up my own.

As you can see, if you’re going to have your workspace in your living space, it definitely has to have some style. Here’s a roundup of what you may find on my desk. Time to work it!
