GOOD EATS: Convection Oven Granola Recipe

Breakfast is my favourite meal of the day, hands down. Sometimes I even have it for dinner. Sometimes I like to go all out with pancakes or bacon & eggs and sometimes I just crave something healthy like yogurt, fruit & granola. The thing is, you may already realize this, is that most store bought granola isn’t actually that great for you because it’s full of sugar. I do love me some crunch with my yogurt though so I decided to make my own granola.

I’ve been loving my new Whirlpool range that I got from Leon’s for my kitchen makeover and have been experimenting with the convection oven feature. The benefit of cooking on convection is that it can cook more evenly in less time with circulating air rather than direct heat. Granola is the perfect recipe to try because it makes it extra crunchy in a fraction of the time. Visit the Leon’s Hello Yellow Blog for my full Convection Oven Granola recipe.

It was sooooo good. I’ve made it a few times since. It’s so good you can just eat it on its own. Yum.
