Here’s part 2 of 3 from my vintage style shoot in Kensington Market. Today I’m wearing a fabulous dark green suede A-Line skirt I found at a thrift shop for under $10. I love it!
You can have a lot of fun with this skirt but I decided to keep it classic with a retro-style blouse, brown high boots, vintage purse and a pop of coral with the belt.
Living in Kensington Market makes vintage shopping easy (and too tempting). I do love a good thrift store treasure hunt but sometime you just want someone to do the digging for you and pick from a store full of already beautiful curated goods. That’s when you come to Kensington. You can find a dozen great vintage shops on one teeny tiny street. They’re all worth visiting but my three favourites are King of Kensington, Flashback & Flashback 2. I pretty much guarantee you’ll find something cute & affordable.
SHOP THIS LOOK: white blouse by H&M, coral belt from Target, vintage leather purse from King of Kensington, brown boots from Aldo (last season).
